If Wi-Fi calling option is not available, Wi-Fi calling is not supported on your phone. Follow these simple steps to use Wi-Fi calling on Android phone.
You go to the Settings menu of your Android smartphone. Then go to the Networks section (also called the Connections section or even Mobile Networks).
In the Networks section, select Wi-Fi Preferences and click on Advanced.
Check Wi-Fi Calling option. If you have two SIM cards installed on your phone, you can decide which number to enable it for. You can enable it for both numbers as well.
In some incoming phones, the Wi-Fi calling option is provided directly in the Networks section itself, without the need to go deep into the Advanced section. This option may be slightly different according to the OS skin of different Android phones, but the features are the same for all.
How to enable Wi-Fi calling on iPhone
On any iPhone, Wi-Fi calling can be easily activated only if your telecom operator supports it. Follow the steps given below.
Go to the Settings menu on the iPhone. Click on Phone.
Then click on Mobile Data > Wi-Fi Calling (this will only tell whether your telecom operator supports the service or not)
Toggle on “Wi-Fi Calling on This iPhone”. If Wi-Fi Calling is available, you will see that Wi-Fi will appear behind your operator’s name in the phone’s status bar. Now all your calls will be started through Wi-Fi Calling.
